Those jolly decent folks at Frederick Warne keep sending us copies of their latest Flower Fairies books to review, so we are glad to check them out for you.
We are thorough and honest, we don't see our role as giving free publicity to the publishers but rather as giving honest opinion as to the worth or not of any given title.

FAIRY ARTISTS
The primary purpose of this website is to produce a decent listing of artists who depict fairies in any way - paintings, prints, sculpture, photography or film.
If you are an artist who produces fairy images of any kind you qualify! You can be located anywhere in the world and you don't need your own website to be listed.
If you have found this page it is more than likely because I have contacted you directly to ask if you would like to submit your profile.
This is not a standard "lets swap links" page, this will be a proper directory where the visitor can browse actual profiles of the artists ... i'm confining the listings to fairy and fantasy artists only - so please don't bother submitting if you are not one of them!
Your listing will go live straight away, although it will be deleted pretty quickly for the normal reasons if I need to - the normal reasons are: if the listing contains hateful or political comments, or of course if the site doesn't feature fairies.
Oh yes and you don't need your own website to list your profile.
THE GOOD NEWS
All profile listings will be FREE at this stage - perhaps in the future people will have to pay to submit, but once you are listed you will stay listed, this is our way of saying thanks to anybody that bothers to list themselves while we are getting this site started.
OTHER THINGS THIS SITE IS ABOUT
Just to let you know our plans for the site.
My main interests are history, art, old books, folklore and so on, as such i've been researching the meaning/language of flowers and will publish here a list of flowers and their perceived meanings.
Additionally due to the success of my other fairy site i keep getting sent review copies of books by various publishers so i figured it would be as good a place as any to review them here ... please note that i'm absolutely not soliciting items for review - i'm pretty busy already!!
Finally I may add some historical, folklore stuff about fairies - although i'm aware that everything takes time (as i'm sure you well know if you run your own website) so that will only happen once the rest of the site is up and running properly.
WHY FREE ?
Good question!!
a). well I want the site to be a success so i need your input just as much as i hope that you get decent benefit, eg. traffic from here.
b). i love fairy stuff, the world of ecommerce has been very good to me, so why not give something back - i believe in that karma stuff.
c). i'm going to apply what i learn here to setting up a commercial website for listing profiles in a completely different industry, so by listing here you are actually helping me learn ... thanks!!
