Nidlongdir was created by the Danish artist Marianne Mathiasen. She has worked as an illustrator and cartoon animator since 1999. Marianne is a skilled cartoon animator and botanical illustrator.

Her art is created in her studio on Als, a small island in the south of Denmark.
