It took me a couple of minutes to work out how to open the diary - you need to press the catch as well as turn the key, but kids are usually much sharper than me when it comes to working things like that out, so no worries there!

A very fair claim I thought! The paper is good quality and beautifully coloured, the colours change every month and each page has three or four dates. Every few pages has a beautiful fairy illustration from the flower fairies series.
An excellent gift for a young girl, lots of rich colours, pinks and purples, which are very girls favourites! The pubished price is £ 6.99
